As a direct result of its location alongside Penzance, Mousehole can become surprisingly busy during the summer months, with the main attractions including local arts and crafts shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Mousehole is well known for featuring in the story, 'The Mousehole Cat', which is based on a legendary fishing tale, and is also known for its spectacular Christmas lights and local speciality fish dish of 'Starry Gazey Pie'.

Famous for being England's most westerly location, no trip to Penzance is complete without visiting the attractions at Land's End. Located around 15 km / 9 miles to the south-west of Penzance, Land's End offers some of the most spectacular stretches of Cornish coastline and the views here are quite magical. The Legendary Land's End theme park is a recent addition to the area's attractions, and although a little commercialised, is extremely popular with families.

Close to both Land's End and Penzance, the Granite Coast Walk consists of a circular trail, lasting around 90 minutes. Featuring a particularly scenic coastal pathway and many cliff-top views along the route, stretching to Lizard Point and beyond, this walking trail also passes the peaceful Porthchapel Cove and St. Levan church.
